The OPS plating system for the knee osteoarthritis has been designed the stability in the area of the fracture that has the greatest inherent instability. The OPS is a set of fixation plates, cancellous screws, cortical screws and instruments. All implants are manufactured to exacting standards from Titanium Alloy.

All plates in the system are oval in form, with converging pairs of screw holes. The system consists of a variety of sizes of plates and two different plates. The OPS plates have locking slotted holes and the OPS locking plates have locking threaded holes. Every screw hole in every plate may choose either a locking or a non-locking screw, at the surgeon’s discretion. Locked plating fixation is enabled through a rigid mechanical connection between screw and plate.

The OPS System includes a variety of screws. There are two different cancellous screws and cortical screws in the system. The plate in this system accepts 6.5 mm cancellous full threaded locking screws proximally, 4.5 mm fully threaded non-locking cortical screw and 6.5mm cancellous screws distally

The OPS plating system is intended to be used in conjunction with bone screws to provide fixation following Proximal Tibial opening wedge osteotomies.
